This piece symbolizes flames of queer resistance, and how only in remembering our past we can bring in the light. The pink triangle on black is an image with a long history: it was used by ACT-UP NY as a symbol in activist art fighting for AIDS patients, and before that it was used by the Nazi's, as a symbol gay men were forced to wear.
