Nora Rachel (they/them) lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. They create visual art inspired by queer culture, sexuality, non-binary & femme identity, and vintage kitsch.
Nora Rachel can’t pick just one art medium and is forever wanting to make all the things all the time. They work with digital illustration, acrylic and watercolor painting, handmade jewelry, graphite, pen and ink, painting on vintage ceramics and plates, embroidery art, zine making, and linocut printing.
They are interested in representing their love of the high femme, and the magical ways queers mold and shape gender. They are hugely influenced by kitsch and camp, humor and sass, and by all the beautiful queers and trans babes who came before and who thrive today. With their art, they want to push back on notions of respectability, and to center queer sexuality, identity, and love.
